If the electric starting slip phenomenon occasionally occurs, it does not affect the normal use of the motorcycle, and it is not necessary to disassemble the electric starting device. However, if the electric start skid failure occurs frequently, affecting the normal use of the motorcycle, it must be repaired.

How should the electric starting device be repaired if there is a problem?

First, test the battery to confirm that its technical condition is good. The battery is the power source of the starter, especially the starter is a high-power accessory, a lot of power consumption, if the battery is insufficient, the starter is unable to start, the obvious sound is the starter sound is inconsistent, or only click.

The second is to check the starting motor starting circuit to confirm that its technical condition is good. Sometimes the starter fails, it may only be a problem with the starting relay, when the start button is pressed, close to the starting relay, you should be able to hear a slight contact closing sound.

The third is to check whether the electric start overrunning clutch is faulty. For example, slipping is obviously a problem with the overrunning clutch.

If the above inspection is carried out and no obvious problems are found, it must be dismantled to check whether the crankshaft gear is faulty, to see whether the crankshaft left journal is bent and deformed.
