1. Lubricating oil is easy to deteriorate and burn


When the engine is running at high temperatures, the oxidation stability of the lubricating oil deteriorates, which intensifies its thermal decomposition, oxidation and polymerization. At the same time, dust in the dry air and moisture in the humid air enter the engine oil pan through the intake system and crankcase vent to pollute the lubricating oil, causing the deterioration of the lubricating oil. In addition, the lubricating oil through the cylinder wall, piston, piston ring, journal and oil bottom overheating areas, easy to cause evaporation and burning.


2. Parts wear intensifies


The engine operates at high temperature, the thermal expansion of metal parts is large, the normal fit gap between parts becomes smaller, and the wear is intensified. At the same time, the engine running at high temperature adheres to many carbon deposits and colloids on the piston top, the combustion chamber wall, the valve and other parts, which makes the thermal properties of metal parts deteriorate and accelerate the damage of the parts. In addition, due to the overheating of the engine, the oil becomes thinner, the oil pressure is reduced, and the lubricating oil film is not easy to form, which also accelerates the wear of the parts.


3. Engine inflation coefficient decreases


Under high temperature conditions, due to the decrease of air density, the amount of air entering the cylinder is reduced, so that the inflation coefficient is reduced, resulting in a decrease in engine power, making the vehicle unable to drive. The test shows that when the temperature rises from 15℃ to 40℃, the power of the engine decreases by 6%-8%.


4. Worse braking performance


The brake shoe and wheel are affected by high temperature, and the braking force decreases quickly after frequent braking. Especially when the car is driving in the mountainous area under the conditions of steep slope, sharp bend, narrow road and complex situation, the number of times of braking is increased, and the temperature of the brake friction sheet will rise sharply, making the braking performance worse. In addition, due to the gradual deformation of the oil residue road surface at high temperature, some places may become flowing liquid, the adhesion of the road surface decreases, and the braking effect becomes significantly worse.


5. The oil supply system produces gas resistance


After the oil supply system is heated, some gasoline is stored in the oil pipe and gasoline pump in a gas state, which not only increases the gasoline flow resistance, but also because of the retraction of the gas, the gasoline steam in the gasoline pump pipe is continuously compressed and expanded with the pulsating pressure of the gasoline pump, so that the vacuum formed in the oil suction process of the gasoline pump is destroyed over a long time. Resulting in insufficient or interrupted engine oil supply, that is, the formation of oil supply system gas resistance.


6. The combustible mixture does not burn normally


With the increase of atmospheric temperature, the temperature of the mixture entering the cylinder is also high, and the temperature of the engine will be higher, so that the lubricating oil entering the cylinder will generate colloid and carbon accumulation in the case of high temperature and hypoxia. The carbon accumulates on the top of the piston, the wall of the combustion chamber, the top of the valve and the spark plug to form a hot point. Cause engine hot ignition, then produce spontaneous combustion or deflagration.
