If the crankcase locating pin is missing, the crankshaft power output will be stuck and the operation will be difficult, affecting the engine power performance.

If the positioning pin between the multi-cylinder engine and the gearbox is missing, the starting motor will be toothed.

What will happen if the locating pin is wrongly installed?

If the selection of positioning pin is too long, it will affect the sealing performance of relevant parts of the engine, resulting in crankcase and gear box oil leakage, cylinder head, the gasket between the cylinders burn through, the engine is difficult to start, driving weak.

If the cylinder head positioning pin is too long, it will lead to loose CAM operation, noise, engine weak.

If the locating pin is too fine or too small, the locating function will be lost, resulting in various faults of the missing locating pin, and the fixing screw cannot be fastened.

If the oil channel positioning pin is misinstalled or too thick, it will block the oil channel, affect the lubrication effect, cause abnormal wear of the engine, affect the engine life and power output.
