Third, when the magnetic decline of the flywheel magnetic steel to a certain point, the number of cutting magnetic force lines per unit time coil is insufficient, and the induced electromotive force will decline, which is the direct cause of the decline in power generation, at this time the magneto will not be able to output enough power, resulting in battery loss, while the trigger voltage will also decline, and the spark plug is difficult to jump fire resulting in motorcycle start-up difficulties.

However, this trick is only suitable for AC headlights, DC headlights because they do not directly pass through the magneto coil, so there is no change.

Fifth, the output of the magneto lighting coil is connected to the AC voltmeter, the output voltage can be measured when the engine is running, if the load voltage when the headlight is turned on and the no-load voltage when the headlight is turned off is too wide, indicating that the power generation capacity is insufficient, no-load voltage is too virtual.

Six, teach you a way to evaluate the car power generation. When the engine is running at full speed and the headlight is the brightest, the multimeter is connected in parallel to the output end of the lighting coil, the highest voltage is measured, and then the multimeter is connected in series to the line, the maximum output current is measured, and the maximum output power of the magneto can be obtained with voltage X current (I*V = W), which is the maximum power of your magneto. Then with a power equivalent or slightly larger rectifier regulator, this is your maximum power supply of the whole car. Coil and rectifier power, the smaller of the two, is the maximum power supply of the whole car.
