1. All oils are the same


Many owners think that no matter what brand of oil can be added to the engine, and even some people love to add oil to the engine, whose purpose is to achieve the dipstick mark line.


On the surface, this is fuel efficient, but different types of engines are not the same degree of heat production and heat dissipation, coupled with regional temperature changes, the old and new degree of the engine itself and the difference in work load and other factors, determine the type of oil.



If the selected oil is too viscous, it will make the clutch not easy to separate and the engine will run poorly; Too thin oil will cause the machine temperature to rise too fast.



2. Heat up the car before you hit the road



It is understood that some motorcycle friends like to heat the car first and then move forward, and some motorcycle friends like to hit the road immediately after the car. Do not agree with the latter approach, but the hot car in advance can not be too long, if the engine starts the car in place for more than 2 minutes, it will cause poor engine heat dissipation. In addition, in winter, it will cause water in the four-stroke exhaust pipe that cannot be excluded, and it is easy to rust corrosion and perforation.



The correct way is to start the engine for about 30 seconds and drive slowly.



However, it is not recommended to blast the throttle, otherwise it is easy to cause premature wear in the cylinder block and dry friction of other parts, because the oil has not fully preheated and lubricated the working surface when the cold car is cooled. It is recommended to drill two or three holes in the lower end of the exhaust pipe near the tail with a drill bit to remove the residual water in the exhaust pipe.



Purpose of warming the car:


We often have two cars of the same model in the same year, but the performance difference is thousands of miles, the reason why the factory vehicles in the same period of time after driving for a period of time will have such a performance difference, usually due to human improper operation, and caused by such a problem is usually not enough to warm the car or too long and long high speed driving for the most.



The reason why the motorcycle needs to warm the car is simply to let the oil lubricate the components and make the engine temperature reach the working temperature.



Among them, lubrication is the most important, when we start the engine at the moment when the oil has not been played from the oil pan, the engine will be damaged because only some parts are lubrized, but the time is very short, only about one-tenth of a second, if the warm up time is not enough, that is, less than one minute. It will be damaged because the oil has not sufficiently lubricated the entire engine.



On the contrary, if the warm up time is too long, like someone has nothing to heat for one or twenty minutes, so that in addition to wasting gasoline, it will cause oil and gas to be mixed into the crankcase or the combustion of incomplete gasoline to form carbon particles in the oil, which will accelerate the deterioration of the oil and make the cylinder head, piston, valve and other carbon deposits.


Therefore, it is recommended that the hot car in summer is 1 to 2 minutes, and the winter is 3 to 5 minutes, and the speed of no more than 40km per hour after the action of the warm car is driven about 1 km, so that the engine can reach the working temperature, so that your car can maintain the best condition at any time.




3. Hold the clutch and walk



When driving, the clutch should be completely released, so that the clutch can be fully combined, and it is not necessary to pinch the clutch with your hand so that it is in a semi-separated state. Some people think that doing so will not stop the brake in the event of an emergency, in fact, this will make the clutch wear too fast, reduce the speed.



4, all kinds of batteries can add water



Under normal circumstances, if the liquid level of the battery is found to be reduced, distilled water or electrolyte can be added to the standard height, but the current maintenance-free battery on the market does not need to add distilled water or electrolyte. This is because the battery is processed by a series of special processes during production, and only needs to be recharged, and no liquid should be added.


he most obvious identification method for ordinary batteries and maintance-free batteries is: ordinary batteries are generally white and transparent shells, and there are two obvious upper and lower limits, which is easy to observe the liquid level height; The maintenance-free battery is generally a variety of colors and the shell is opaque, and is marked with precautions.


In addition, the ordinary battery has obvious 6 red or yellow plugs at the injection hole, while the injection hole of the maintenance free battery is only a long strip pressure plate with a smooth surface.



5. Tires are almost OK




Tires are vital to a car, but some people do not check tire wear and air pressure. When the tire is worn to the limit, its bearing capacity will be reduced, and it is easy to be pierced by foreign bodies, causing a burst tire.




If the air pressure is low, the radial deformation of the tire increases, the cord stretch deformation is large, resulting in uneven tread wear, affecting the stability of driving and increasing the driving resistance.




If the air pressure is too high, it will cause excessive wear in the middle of the tread, which will reduce the braking performance of the motorcycle, and cause a flat tire in summer. Therefore, do not try to save money or trouble, ignoring tires and air pressure.
