If a fuel car travel range of 420km, I think we are not strange; Experia, an electric scooter with a range of 420km, has been launched by European manufacturer Energica.
Equipped with a 22.5kwh battery pack, the Experia can provide a maximum range of 420km in urban commuting and 222 km in WMTC (world motorcycle test cycle). According to Energica, fast chargers can charge from 0% to 80% in just 40 minutes.
Experia uses a PMASynRM (permanent magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor) 306V DC (nominal) with a continuous output of 60kW (80hp) /7,000 RPM, with a maximum output of 75kW (102hp) /7,500 RPM and a maximum speed limit of 180 km/h.
Braking system includes Brembo front and rear calipers, 330mm brake discs and 4-piston radial calipers; ABS is managed by Bosch 9.3MP ECU, which also manages level 6 traction control. There are also four cycling modes: Eco, Urban, Rain and Sport.
With a range of 420km, the range of this recreational model breaks the stereotype of electric motorcycles to a certain extent. Although not officially announced, some power output is expected to be sacrificed in exchange.
As the electric motorcycle continues to evolve, expect more new technologies and models to emerge, and when the electric motorcycle gets rid of limitations such as range, it may really become a mainstream motorcycle model.
